Oración del elefante Gajendra al Seïor Çré Kåñëa


En el Octavo Canto, Capítulo Tres, verso 20, de El Çrémad-Bhägavatam. Gajendra dice:


“Mi querido Seïor, yo no tengo experiencia de la dicha trascendental que procede de Tu servicio devocional, así que por eso te he pedido un favor. Pero yo se que las personas que son devotas puras y que, por servir los pies de loto de las grandes almas, se han llegado a liberar de todos los deseos materiales, siempre están sumergidas en el oceano de la dicha trascendental y, en consecuencia, siempre están satisfechas con sólo glorificar Tus características auspiciosas. Para ellas, no hay nada más a lo que deban aspirar o por lo que deban rezar.” (N. de la D. pág. 38).
