"If one offers Me with love and devotion a leaf, a flower, fruit or water, I will accept it."

PURPORT by Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Svami Prabhupada

For the intelligent person, it is essential to be in Krishna consciousness, engaged in the transcendental loving service of the Lord, in order to achieve a permanent, blissful abode for eternal happiness. The process of achieving such a marvelous result is very easy and can be attempted even by the poorest of the poor, without any kind of qualification.

The only qualification required in this connection is to be a pure devotee of the Lord. It does not matter what one is or where one is situated. The process is so easy that even a leaf or a little water or fruit can be offered to the Supreme Lord in genuine love and the Lord will be pleased to accept it. No one, therefore, can be barred from Krishna consciousness, because it is so easy and universal. Who is such a fool that he does not want to be Krishna conscious by this simple method and thus attain the highest perfectional life of eternity, bliss and knowledge? Krishna wants only loving service and nothing more. Krishna accepts even a little flower from His pure devotee. He does not want any kind of offering from a nondevotee. He is not in need of anything from anyone, because He is self-sufficient, and yet He accepts the offering of His devotee in an exchange of love and affection.

To develop Krishna consciousness is the highest perfection of life. Bhakti is mentioned twice in this verse in order to declare more emphatically that bhakti, or devotional service, is the only means to approach Krishna. No other condition, such as becoming a brahmana. a learned scholar, a very rich man or a great philosopher, can induce Krishna to accept some offering. Without the basic principle of bhakti, nothing can induce the Lord to agree to accept anything from anyone. Bhakti is never causal. The process is eternal. It is direct action in service to the absolute whole.

Here Lord Krishna, having established that He is the only enjoyer, the primeval Lord and the real object of all sacrificial offerings, reveals what types of sacrifices He desires to be offered. If one wishes to engage in devotional service to the Supreme in order to be purified and to reach the goal of life -- the transcendental loving service of God -- then one should find out what the Lord desires of him. One who loves Krishna will give Him whatever He wants, and he avoids offering anything which is undesirable or unasked. Thus meat, fish and eggs should not be offered to Krishna. If He desired such things as offerings, He would have said so. Instead He clearly requests that a leaf, fruit, flowers and water be given to Him, and He says of this offering, "I will accept it." Therefore, we should understand that He will not accept meat, fish and eggs. Vegetables, grains, fruits, milk and water are the proper foods for human beings and are prescribed by Lord Krishna Himself. Whatever else we eat cannot be offered to Him, since He will not accept it. Thus we cannot be acting on the level of loving devotion if we offer such foods.

In the Third Chapter, verse thirteen, Sri Krishna explains that only the remains of sacrifice are purified and fit for consumption by those who are seeking advancement in life and release from the clutches of the material entanglement. Those who do not make an offering of their food, He says in the same verse, are eating only sin. In other words, their every mouthful is simply deepening their involvement in the complexities of material nature. But preparing nice, simple vegetable dishes, offering them before the picture or Deity of Lord Krishna and bowing down and praying for Him to accept such a humble offering enables one to advance steadily in life, to purify the body, and to create fine brain tissues which will lead to clear thinking. Above all, the offering should be made with an attitude of love. Krishna has no need of food, since He already possesses everything that be, yet He will accept the offering of one who desires to please Him in that way. The important element, in preparation, in serving and in offering, is to act with love for Krishna.

The impersonalist philosophers, who wish to maintain that the Absolute Truth is without senses, cannot comprehend this verse of Bhagavad-gita. To them, it is either a metaphor or proof of the mundane character of Krishna, the speaker of the Bhagavad-gita. But, in actuality, Krishna, the Supreme Godhead, has senses, and it is stated that His senses are interchangeable; in other words, one sense can perform the function of any other. This is what it means to say that Krishna is absolute. Lacking senses, He could hardly be considered full in all opulences. In the Seventh Chapter, Krishna has explained that He impregnates the living entities into material nature. This is done by His looking upon material nature. And so in this instance, Krishna's hearing the devotee's words of love in offering foodstuffs is wholly identical with His eating and actually tasting. This point should be emphasized: because of His absolute position, His hearing is wholly identical with His eating and tasting. Only the devotee, who accepts Krishna as He describes Himself, without interpretation, can understand that the Supreme Absolute Truth can eat food and enjoy it.

Srila Prabhupada writes, “Extravagance in the matter of eating, sleeping, defending, and mating - which are demands of the body - can block advancement in the practice of yoga. As far as eating is concerned, it can be regulated only when one is practiced to take and accept prasadam, sanctified food.” We eat vegetarian food, but we are not vegetarians. We’re “Krsnatarians.” Rabbits are vegetarian, elephants are vegetarian. So what? Krsna says, “If all you can offer is a leaf, flower, or fruit, offer it with love. And take the remnants, the prasadam. What I want is your devotion.”

Not only is vegetarian Indian cuisine delectable, but there’s just something about Krsna prasadam that is indescribably delicious. I may get distracted by thoughts of illicit sex, intoxication (hardly but maybe), gambling (we speculate sometimes). But meat-eating—forget it. I never even think of it. Because we have literally developed a higher taste for Krsna-prasadam. We regulate our activities by taking Krsna prasadam.

Notas de mis amigos

The mode of goodness is actually favored by the time factor... so one who is in the mode of goodness, whatever you call him - a demigod, a sage, a devotee - if one is in the mode of goodness, he will naturally have better time with things in this world and naturally he will be more successful, naturally he will be healthier...That is why people in the mode of goodness are successful - because the time factor actually favors the mode of goodness...
(from a lecture on SB 1.9.22, January 19, 2003, New Goloka)
My dear Lord, You are certainly the fully independent master of all the senses. Therefore all women who worship You by strictly observing vows because they wish to acquire a husband to satisfy their senses are surely under illusion. They do not know that such a husband cannot actually give protection to them or their children. Nor can he protect their wealth or duration of life, for he himself is dependent on time, fruitive results and the modes of nature, which are all subordinate to You.

In this verse, Lakṣmīdevī (Ramā) shows compassion toward women who worship the Lord for the benediction of possessing a good husband. Although such women desire to be happy with children, wealth, a long duration of life and everything dear to them, they cannot possibly do so. In the material world, a so-called husband is dependent on the control of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. There are many examples of a woman whose husband, being dependent on the result of his own fruitive actions, cannot maintain his wife, her children, her wealth or her duration of life. Therefore, factually the only real husband of all women is Kṛṣṇa, the supreme husband. Because the gopīs were liberated souls, they understood this fact. Therefore they rejected their material husbands and accepted Kṛṣṇa as their real husband. Kṛṣṇa is the real husband not only of the gopīs, but of every living entity. Everyone should perfectly understand that Kṛṣṇa is the real husband of all living entities, who are described in the Bhagavad-gītā as prakṛti (female), not puruṣa (male). In Bhagavad-gītā (10.12), only Kṛṣṇa is addressed as puruṣa:
paraṁ brahma paraṁ dhāma
pavitraṁ paramaṁ bhavān
puruṣaṁ śāśvataṁ divyam
ādi-devam ajaṁ vibhum
"You are the Supreme Brahman, the ultimate, the supreme abode and purifier, the Absolute Truth and the eternal divine person. You are the primal God, transcendental and original, and You are the unborn and all-pervading beauty."
Kṛṣṇa is the original puruṣa, and the living entities are prakṛti. Thus Kṛṣṇa is the enjoyer, and all living entities are meant to be enjoyed by Him. Therefore any woman who seeks a material husband for her protection, or any man who desires to become the husband of a woman, is under illusion. To become a husband means to maintain a wife and children nicely by supplying wealth and security. However, a material husband cannot possibly do this, for he is dependent on his karma. Karmaṇā-daiva-netreṇa: his circumstances are determined by his past fruitive activities. Therefore if one proudly thinks he can protect his wife, he is under illusion. Kṛṣṇa is the only husband, and therefore the relationship between a husband and wife in this material world cannot be absolute. Because we have the desire to marry, Kṛṣṇa mercifully allows the so-called husband to possess a wife, and the wife to possess a so-called husband, for mutual satisfaction. In the Īśopaniṣad it is said, tena tyaktena bhuñjīthā: the Lord provides everyone with his quota. Actually, however, every living entity is prakṛti, or female, and Kṛṣṇa is the only husband.
ekale īśvara kṛṣṇa, āra saba bhṛtya
yāre yaiche nācāya, se taiche kare nṛtya
(Cc. Ādi 5.142)
Kṛṣṇa is the original master or husband of everyone, and all other living entities, having taken the form of so-called husbands, or wives, are dancing according to His desire. A so-called husband may unite with his wife for sense gratification, but his senses are conducted by Hṛṣīkeśa, the master of the senses, who is therefore the actual husband.

Gaurahari Das March 30 at 10:51am
If your ready to hear about where the real door to pure bhakti( pure goodness)i is then please check out our website. To be quite honest 98 percent of us devotees are not qualified to experience real pure bhakti because of Sadhu Ninda( Vaishnava apparada to real vaishnavas). We speak about what this paticualr offense is that not even any mainstream recognized Diksha Gurus or alleged Acarya can explain about it any realized way because they also are implicated and implicate others unawares. If you are a honest devotee and after 5,10 or 20 years you don't have real devotion which false mental concocted devotion to Gopis imitates, intense eagerness to hear first About Gauranga's lila, you have not yet found the real path or the real pure devotee no matter how many boasts and claims the authorities promote. So for those who are ready to dare to question their authorities on the authority of a higher principal that these authorities do not understand by experience, then join our website and find the real path. You will not need anyone to tell you or brainwash into thinking only mentally you have found real sadhus and real bhakti, you will experience its real bliss and transcendental nature above all else.

For those who are in the real mode of the gopis and are ready to transgress all their vedic religious authorities who represent a lower mode of goodness at best even though they misrepresent it as transcendenta,l come over and visit our site for your eternal benefit. You will not lose by this even though quite naturally your authorities are going to try to restrain you by all means. To gain all one must risk all like bali maharaja did to attain the real, not imagined spiritual platform of pure goodness. The invitation is now extended. Which pill do you want to take, the blue or the red. Clicking on the following link is the blue pill and your life will never be the same but you will know the real truth and quickly be eternally satisfied and elevated to the real not imagined spiritual platform of pure goodness where you will chant and dance in real devotional ecstasy Krishna's holy name. The red pill is a no click or a click and a no register and you will stay sleeping with your dreams and imaginings of bhakti in the modes of nature(( even goodness) taught by your present inexperienced professor like authorities with large titles to compensate for the lack of real transcendental knowledge. All will just appear to be well due to agreement of many others who share the same belief. The choice is yours and yours alone. The blue or the red pill?

Diary of a Traveling Monk

Volume 11, Chapter 3

March 1 - 18, 2010

By Indradyumna Swami

"Greatly Rewarded"

After my unsettling experiences in the San Diego and Vancouver airports, where I was interrogated by security officials, I again considered wearing non-devotional dress while traveling in the United States.

Airport security measures have been heightened throughout the country because of terrorist threats. Passengers who arouse suspicion are often subjected to extra searches, and there is concern that people of various racial, ethnic, religious, or national groups are being singled out. And no doubt, the flowing saffron robes of a sannyasi draw attention.

But I decided against changing my dress. “Experience has shown that the advantages of wearing my robes far outweigh those of pants and a shirt,” I thought, “if only because of the number of people who approach me to ask about spiritual life.”

My decision was to be greatly rewarded. Two weeks into my tour I checked in for a flight from Boise, Idaho, to Salt Lake City. Sure enough, I was pulled aside for a special search while going through security.

“Stand with your legs spread and your arms out to the side while I do a body search,” said the officer.

I smiled. “No problem,” I said. “I'm used to it.”

Starting from my arms his hands slid down to my waist. “Is this sheet tied on tight?” he asked.

“It's called a dhoti, sir,” I said. “And yes, it's tied tight.”

“Just thought I'd ask,” he said. “The last time I patted down one of you guys the sheet fell off. He was standing there in the strangest underwear I ever saw.”

I chuckled.

After the pat-down he led me to a table to search my hand luggage. “Actually, I'd like to ask you a question if I could,” he said softly as he started to open my briefcase.

“No problem, officer,” I said. “That's what you people are supposed to do. I appreciate these security measures. They keep us safe.”

“No, I mean another kind of question,” he said, looking around to make sure no one was taking notice.

“You're a spiritual person,” he continued, “and you look so happy. Can you tell me why I'm suffering so much in life?”

"Well, sir," I said, “Suffering will always be there in material life. You can alter it somewhat, but you can't change the fact that we all get sick, grow old, and die. You have to go within and discover your spiritual self, which is eternal and full of knowledge and bliss.”

“What does the spiritual self look like?” he said as he picked up my printer.

“We're spiritual beings,” I said, “with a spiritual body and spiritual senses and emotions. That body is eternal. It never grows old.”

He looked up. “Does God really exist?” he said.

Just then another security officer called out. “Hey, Bill," he shouted, "is there a problem? What's taking so long?”

“No problem,” Bill yelled back. “Just double checking.” He then looked at me for the answer to his question.

“Of course God exists,” I said, “and you can see Him. But you need the necessary qualifications.”

“Which are?” he said as he slowly continued going through my things.

“Bill," the other officer shouted, "move that person on! The line is backing up here!”

Bill was obviously taking his time so he could ask me questions.

“What is the qualification for seeing God?” he said.

“Love,” I replied.

“But how to... ” he started to say, when the other security officer walked over.

“Bill,” he said, “does this gentleman pose a security threat?”

“No, sir,” Bill replied.

“Then move things on,” said the officer.

“I wanted to ask him one more question,” said Bill.

“Then ask,” said the officer.

“I mean about life,” Bill said.

The officer stared at him for a moment. “Bill, this is not the place,” he said.

The officer turned to me. “You can go now, sir,” he said.

“But I need to know... ” Bill started to say.

“Back to work,” the officer said sternly.

“Can I give him my card?” I said to the officer as I started to walk away.

“No," the officer said. "He's on duty."

After walking twenty meters, I looked back to see Bill getting a scolding. I headed to the departure gate still thinking about him when a young woman came up to me.

“Are you a Hare Krsna?” she said.

“Yes I am,” I replied.

“Do you have any literature?” she said with a big smile. “I've always wanted to know something about your faith.”

“I'm sorry,” I said, “I don't have any on me, but if you send me your address I'll mail some books to you.”

The card I had wanted to give Bill was still in my hand, and I gave it to her.

“Great!” she said. “Don't forget.”

I smiled. “I won't forget,” I said.

By dint of my frequent flyer points, I was traveling business class. Twenty minutes into the flight, a woman walked up to the aisle next to my seat.

“Are you a Buddhist?” she said.

“No,” I said. “I'm a monk in the Hare Krsna movement.”

“I'm a Buddhist,” she said. “Can you tell me the difference between Hare Krsna and Buddhism?”

The man seated next to me put down his Wall Street Journal to see what was happening.

“The basic difference is that Hare Krsna accepts the absolute truth as a person,” I replied. “Buddhism states that ultimately everything is void.”

The man went back to reading his newspaper.

“Yes," she said, "that's true. So what do we have in common?”

“A number of things,” I said, “beginning with our belief in reincarnation.”

“Just a minute,” she said and turned to the man next to me. “Sir," she said, "do you think you could change seats with me? I'd really love to talk to this monk.”

The man lowered his newspaper. “Are you in business class?” he said.

“I'm not,” she said. “I'm in economy. But I have an aisle seat.”

He looked at her incredulously. “It would mean a lot to me,” she said. “Please. I need some spiritual association.”

He still couldn't believe what he was hearing.

“I really need this,” she said.

The man thought it over. “All right," he said to my surprise, "if it means so much to you.” He gathered his things and taking her boarding pass walked to her seat in economy.

She sat down next to me. “So," she said, "you were saying something about
reincarnation?”

We then discussed the differences between Vaisnavism and Buddhism throughout the ninety-minute flight.

At Salt Lake City I was walking through the airport to the baggage carousels when a woman stopped me.

“Excuse me, sir,” she said, “may I ask what faith you are practicing?”

“I'm from the Hare Krsna movement,” I said. “I follow an ancient spiritual tradition from India.”

“I see,” she said. “And is there a special significance to the clothes you're wearing?”

I smiled. “Yes, there is,” I said. “We dress like this so people will ask us questions.”

She laughed.

“Seriously,” I said, “One's outer appearance reflects one's inner nature. Before becoming a monk I led a degraded life. My dirty and unkempt clothes were an indication of my unclean heart. Now I'm striving to understand God, and these clothes are a sign of my pure intentions.”

“Beautifully put,” she said. “Are you going to visit the Mormon Temple in Salt Lake City?”

“Sure, if I have time,” I said.

“Visit Brigham Young University, too,” she said. “Most of the students are nice young Mormons.”

“I'll try,” I said.

We shook hands. “Safe travels,” she said.

As I struggled with my hand-trolley up some steps to another level, a young man behind me put his hand on my lower back and gently pushed me up.

“Thanks a lot,” I said when we got to the top of the stairs.

He laughed. “Figured it'd get me some kudos from above,” he said.

While I was waiting for my bags at the carousel, a woman in her fifties approached me. “You're American, right?” she asked.

“Yes, ma'am,” I said.

“But you're following an Eastern path. Why is that?”

“This tradition answered all my spiritual questions," I said.

“And how many years have you been practicing?” she said.

I had to think for a moment. “Forty years,” I said.

“Forty years!” she exclaimed. She lowered her voice and leaned closer. “And have you been faithful all those years?" she said. "Are you keeping your vows?”

I nodded my head. “Yes, ma'am," I said." I've been faithful and I've kept my vows.”

“George!” she called out to her husband waiting at the baggage carousel. “Bring me twenty bucks.”

Her husband reached into his pocket, walked over, and handed her a twenty-dollar bill. The wife put the money in my hand. “Keep up the good work,” she said and walked away.

I spent four wonderful days with Caru das and his wife, Vaibhavi dasi, at their temple in Spanish Fork, south of Salt Lake City. The night before leaving, I received an e-mail from the US State Department. It must have been sent as a result of the number of times I've been taken aside for screening in airports.

“Dear Sir," it began.

“We are reaching out to your organization on behalf of the US Department of Homeland Security to obtain information about issues or concerns regarding religious expression or exercise during airport security screening. For example, do individuals of your faith who wear religious dress believe they are treated differently in the airport screening process because of the clothing they are wearing or religious symbols they possess? Your assistance in helping us address religious exercise and expressions issues at airport security is welcomed.”

I replied:

“Dear Sirs,

“It appears that I am sometimes singled out for screening because of my religious dress. But I have no complaints. Considering the apparent threat of terrorism in our country, such security measures are acceptable. What's more, it gives me an opportunity to share my faith with all of you.

“With best wishes,

“Indradyumna Swami”

The next morning I took a flight to Dallas, Texas. I was seated next to a gentleman who was absorbed in reading what appeared to be the Bible. When he put it in the pocket of the seat in front of him I asked if I might borrow it to read for a while.

He smiled. “It's The Book of Mormon,” he said.

“Fine,” I said. “I'm always interested in learning about other faiths.”

“Me too,” he said gently. “Do you have a copy of the Bhagavad-gita?”

“Do you know the Gita?” I said.

“Well, no I don't,” he said. “But I know it's the scripture of the Hare Krsnas, and from your dress I can see you're a Hare Krsna.”

With that exchange began a pleasing, in-depth discussion about religion that lasted the entire two and a half hours till we arrived. As the plane was landing, the gentleman smiled. “You can keep the book,” he said.

It was large and ornate, obviously a special edition. “Thank you," I said. "I consider it a very special gift. If you give me your business card, I'll send you a Bhagavad-gita.”

“I'd be honored,” he said as he handed me his card.

That evening I looked at the gentleman's card. My eyes opened wide as the bold letters at the top jumped out at me. It read:

"Dean, Brigham Young University, College of Fine Arts and Communications"

"Well," I thought, "that's a nice surprise at the end of a nice day."

Srila Prabhupada writes:

“In the country known as Mayuradhvaja, the lower-caste people who are considered less than sudras are also initiated in the Vaisnava cult of devotional service. And when they are properly dressed, with tilaka on their bodies and beads in their hands and on their necks, they appear to be coming from Vaikuntha. In fact, they look so very beautiful that immediately they surpass the ordinary brahmanas.”

Prabhupada Smaranam

Prabhupada is sitting regally, like a resting lion; he shows signs of old age and weakness, but he is still travelling somewhere, making his endless grand preaching tour around the world, again and again. I read a nice indirect reference about Srila Prabhupada in the book, Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, by a European devotee-scholar. He was describing the great success of the Gaudia Math during the lifetime of Srila Bhaktisiddhanta. Then he briefly mention that after Bhaktisiddhanta’s passing away his mission fell to ruin and the preaching stopped due to schisms among his disciples. He author says that it is not until thirty years later in the 1960s that a ‘watershed’ was created and Bhaktisiddhanta’s mission was reviewed on the grand scale, becoming a world religion with thousands of followers. The author said it was beyond the scope of his study of the life of Bhaktisiddhanta to describe how this watershed took place. But it was so enlivening to read, even the indirect reference to the work of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, as the one who rescued the phoenix from the ashes of the Gaudia Math and turned it into a grand powerful success.

During the lifetime of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati there were only a few harbingers predictions and prophesies that our Prabhupada would be the one to pick up the fallen banner of the Gaudiya Movement and spread it all over the world, but history bears it out undeniably. While most of his Godbrothers fell into dispute and few did powerful preaching, it was our Prabhupada alone who went alone to America and created the Hare Krishna explosion. The picture shows him near the end of his work, with the movement set in place that would continue, despite troubles, to endure and expand after his disappearance. All glories to Bhaktivedanta Srila Prabhupada, the best disciple of Bhaktisiddhanta Sarasvati, and all glories to his faithful followers.

I recently got the following letter from a devotee commenting on an article from Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja that was posted on our website: www.gopaljiu.org

My reply comes at the end.
================

Please accept my humble obeisances. ALL GLORIES TO SRILA PRABHUPADA!

First of all, I would like to express my appreciation for your website and thought-provoking articles which it contains.

I read Prabhupada's Mission excerpted from chapters 12 and 13 of Sri Srimad Gour Govinda Swami Maharaja's book MY REVERED SPIRITUAL MASTER. In the article, he expressed deep nistha for his Gurudeva--which I understand to be the cornerstone of bhakti. He wrote that if one chooses to leave ISKCON then they will never please Srila Prabhupada. Yes, Prabhupada established ISKCON with mlecchas and yavanas like me. That he performed a miracle there can be no doubt. That miracle was possible because Srila Prabhupada is a nitya-siddha devotee. It was his purity and potency which carried ISKCON. I saw first hand what happened after he left. I respect Prabhpada's sincere disciples who believe in his mission and Srila Gour Govinda Maharaja is in a class by himself.

When the present day leaders of ISKCON commit offense against mahatmas like Srila Narayana Maharaja--it is time for a line to be drawn. Is the institution in and of itself all important or is it the purity that exists within? When external boundaries rise out of ignorance and the need to control is paramount, isn't it time to center ourselves on the Truth as it is given to us by our acaryas and leave politics aside? I would appreciate hearing your take on this.

Thanks for your kind and thoughtful text.

The first thing is that I think it is important for us to remember our purpose: We didn't come to join or merge with an institution. We came as individuals to get bhakti and develop personal relationships with guru and Krishna. The institution of the guru in and of itself is not bhakti, nor is it a person. It's a seva-sanga project of one's guru. We may consider the guru's car to be non-different from him, but we don't pray to it or ask it for advice. Its connection to guru is of spirit of purpose.

If the guru instructs a disciple to render a particular service, whether the venue is heaven or hell, the sincere disciple goes there. Mere membership in an organization does not mean that the constituents share the moods or understandings of all the various members.

Consider Bhishmadev -- he was on the wrong side! He was serving and supporting Duryodhan. Howevever, his association was apara-vicara or an apparent consideration. In tattva, Bhishma was only externally associating with the kauravas. In his heart he was with Krishna and the Pandavas. However, he accepted and maintained his position with the kauravas due to etiquette and the understanding that it was the Lord's desire that he do so.

Association and service take place in the field of the heart. Whether the external territory we find ourselves serving in is a battlefield or a temple, as enjoined by Sri Srimad Bhakti Raksak Sridhar Maharaja we consider our environment to be friendly.

It seems that basically all sadhu-vaishnavas stress faithfulness to their seva-sanga-institution. I have seen this several times in your respected Guru Maharaja, Srila BV Narayan Maharaja. I have heard a number of times about him telling devotees not to go to leave his seva-sanga to go to other groups. On one occasion in 1999, I had the good fortune to be present in a class he gave at the Kesavaji Gaudiya Math on Srila Jiva Goswami's disappearance day (or appearance?). In that lecture he told the devotees, "After I leave this world, don't go here and there. As westerners, I know this is your nature. But you should stay here."

As far as ISKCON goes, personally I don't see it as either better or worse than any other vaishnava seva-sanga. The only difference for me is that it is the seva-sanga of my gurudeva and my param-gurudeva. Yes, there are some unpleasant people in the society -- even ones who sometimes do vaishnava-ninda. ISKCON preaches daily to new people -- even butchers, prostitutes, pimps, and thieves. Some of them join. Some of them even become leaders. Not all of them become pure immediately. Sadly, some of them are even envious and offensive of devotees.

For myself however, I don't associate with such people. If I find someone acting in an envious way towards vaishnavas in *any* group I practice upeksa, neglect of them -- whether they are in ISKCON or in the Gaudiya Math or in any other vaishnava-sanga.

In the end day we will be known by our qualities, not by our institutional affiliation. My revered spiritual master stressed loyalty to ISKCON not out of mundane sectarianism. He did so because for us to attain sudha-bhakti we need to become nistha to our individual gurudeva's.

Within ISKCON things were hardly materially perfect for him. He sometimes suffered obstacles and even harsh opposition within Srila Prabhupada society. However, he told us many times that Srila Prabhupada had instructed him to stay in the society and to, "Tolerate, tolerate, tolerate, cooperate." My spiritual master once told us, "If they want me to leave ISKCON they will have to cut off my head."

He taught us by his words and his example that if we want bhakti we should be faithful and fixed in service to our guru and our gurudeva's seva-sanga.

I hope that this is some help for you and that all is well for your bhajan and seva.

Vaishnava kripa prarthi,
Madhavananda Das
Prabhupäda:
Purity means standing on the spiritual platform. That is purity. In the material platform there is no purity. So according to Bhagavad-gita, that standard of purity, that means standing on the spiritual platform, which is called brahma-bhütaù. Brahma-bhütaù. So Krsna says this purity,
This Brahman understanding, or to stand on the Brahman platform, is purity. How one can attain that platform of purity? Krsna says that "One who is engaged in devotional service to Me without any deviation," that means twenty-four hours in Krsna consciousness, "he is pure." He is pure. If you can keep yourself always, constantly in Krsna consciousness, always thinking of Krsna, then you are pure. Otherwise... Krsna consciousness or God consciousness, it doesn't make any difference. So just like if you keep always in touch with fire you are warm—there is no possibility of being cold—similarly, some way or other if you always keep yourself in Krsna consciousness or God consciousness, then you are pure. Therefore we advise our students, "Chant Hare Krsna." As soon as you chant this sound, Krsna, immediately you are in touch with Krsna. Therefore you are, you keep yourself pure. Is that clear? Yes. So try to keep yourself in Krsna consciousness without any deviation. Then you remain pure. That is also confirmed in the Bhagavad-gita, daivé hy eñä guëamayé... [Bg. 7.14]. [break] It is very difficult to get out of the clutches of this mäyä, contamination. Very difficult. Mäm eva ye prapadyante: "But one who keeps touch with Me, with full surrender," mäyäm etäà taranti te, "he's out of these clutches of mäyä." So just like there is antiseptic, what is called, vaccination, to keep yourself from the contamination... There is epidemic, and under government order everyone is vaccinated, that "You take this. So you shall keep your..." This is material way of keeping oneself from contamination. Similarly, if you keep always yourself in spiritual understanding of Krsna consciousness, you remain pure.
Let’s get this straight. Even though aluminum is widely distributed in the earth’s crust, it is NOT needed in ANY amounts in your body. All evidence to date points to aluminum as a poison that serves no beneficial role in your body and should be avoided.

Aluminum is widely recognized as a neurotoxin, which has been found in increased concentrations in the brains of people with Alzheimer’s disease.

Unfortunately, if you use antiperspirants or some deodorants, you are most likely exposing yourself to aluminum.

Aluminum salts can account for 25 percent of the volume of some antiperspirants.

A review of the common sources of aluminum exposure for humans found that antiperspirant use can significantly increase the amount of aluminum absorbed by your body. According to the review, after a single underarm application of antiperspirant, about .012 percent of the aluminum may be absorbed.

Multiply this by one or more times a day for a lifetime and you can have a massive exposure to aluminum -- a poison that is not meant to be in your body.

Antiperspirants work by clogging, closing, or blocking the pores that release sweat under your arms -- with the active ingredient being aluminum. Not only does this block one of your body’s routes for detoxification (releasing toxins via your underarm sweat), but it raises concerns about where these heavy metals are going once you roll them (or spray them) on.

In some cases, it is clear that they may be wreaking havoc directly on your brain. In 1988, for instance, a truck driver accidentally poured 20 tons of aluminum sulphate into a tank containing drinking water.

Some 20,000 people in the village of Camelford were exposed to the chemical for several weeks, and then went on to develop a rare form of early-onset Alzheimer’s disease, along with showing the presence of high levels of aluminum in their tissues.

Deodorants and Antiperspirants Linked to Cancer

Alzheimer’s disease is not the only reason to ditch your aluminum-containing antiperspirant and deodorant, as this heavy metal has also been linked to cancer.

A 2006 study found that aluminum salts can mimic the hormone estrogen, and chemicals that imitate that hormone are known to increase breast cancer risk. Animal studies have also found that aluminum can cause cancer.

Given that antiperspirants are used on your armpits, the aluminum salt concentration is highest near your breast tissue. Further, when women shave under their arms it can result in a higher aluminum-salt absorption rate due to the damaged skin.

In a 2007 study published in the Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry, researchers tested breast samples from 17 breast-cancer patients who had undergone mastectomies. The women who used antiperspirants had deposits of aluminum in their outer breast tissue. Concentrations of aluminum were higher in the tissue closest to the underarm than in the central breast.

Aluminum is not normally found in the human body, so this study was a pretty clear sign that the metal was being absorbed from antiperspirant sprays and roll-ons.

It’s worth mentioning that deodorants are not the same thing as antiperspirants. Deodorants may actually be less problematic than antiperspirants, as they work by neutralizing the smell of your sweat and by antiseptic action against bacteria, but do not prevent sweating.

However, many deodorants also contain aluminum, along with chemicals called parabens, which have also been linked to breast cancer. So, you’re clearly better off avoiding both antiperspirants and deodorants.

Supposedly “Safe” Crystal Alum Antiperspirants

“Crystal” deodorant stones are a popular natural deodorant alternative, often used by health-conscious shoppers looking to avoid the aluminum and other chemicals common in most antiperspirants and deodorants.

However, if you’re looking to avoid aluminum, crystal deodorants may not be your best choice.

While many claim to be aluminum-free, they are referring to aluminum chlorohydrate, aluminum chloride, aluminum hydroxybromide or aluminum zirconium.

These types of aluminum are widely used in antiperspirants and deodorants. The aluminum is taken into sweat ducts in the top layer of your skin where they act as a plug, stopping the flow of sweat to your skin’s surface.

There is evidence, however, that this aluminum is absorbed into your body where it may cause serious damage.

The aluminum in crystal deodorant stones is a different type of compound known as an alum, the most common form being potassium alum, also known as potassium aluminum sulfate.

Potassium Alum or Ammonium Alum are natural mineral salts made up of molecules that are too large to be absorbed by your skin. They form a protective layer on your skin that inhibits the growth of odor-causing bacteria. These deodorants are recommended by many cancer treatment centers.

But while this may be a better alternative to most antiperspirants and deodorants on the market, it is not completely aluminum-free.

I’ll share with you my top tips for staying odor-free naturally shortly, but first I want to explain why I stopped using any antiperspirants or deodorants over 25 years ago … and suggest you also do the same.

Final Recommendation:

Please note that this recommendation is for antiperspirants only, not deodorants. Many confuse the two. Nearly all antiperspirants use aluminum or alum-based salts to achieve their sweat reduction effect.

It is an absolute no brainer for you and your family to avoid all conventional aluminum-based antiperspirants. The evidence is very clear that these are absorbed and will contribute to aluminum in your body.

Regarding purportedly safe “alum” based antiperspirants found in most health food stores, the companies that produce these claim that the mineral salts are too large to be absorbed and thus provide no danger. However, we have been unable to uncover any solid evidence that supports this claim so it would seem prudent to avoid using them.

While these crystals are probably better than using a conventional antiperspirant, they are clearly not aluminum-free and it still poses a possible Alzheimer's risk and contributes to background toxicity in your body.

It would seem best to exercise the precautionary principle at this time and avoid these crystal-based alum antiperspirants.

Personally, I have not used antiperspirants for over 30 years, once I realized that they were actually causing the stains in the underarm area of my shirts and that wasn’t due to my own sweat. That was a major clue to me to avoid them.

All I do is use simple soap and water and that seems to work well enough that my friends and relatives do not tell me I have any offensive body odor. I typically will wash under my arms in the morning and after I workout.

This approach has served me well for over three decades, however if you find you need a more aggressive approach, then try a pinch of baking soda mixed into water as an effective all-day deodorant.

Additionally, there are many non-aluminum or alum-based alternatives in your local health food store that would likely serve your needs, but I would encourage you to at least TRY going without before making your mind up.

Remember you will need to check the label not only for “aluminum” but also for potassium alum or potash alum, as the full chemical name of potassium alum is potassium aluminum sulfate.

And that's why I shower with baking soda mixed with sea salts and only use natural deodorant! (I found for quite some time that regular soap wouldn't keep my underarms from getting stinky without regular deodorant, now that I use the baking soda and salt it kills the bacteria and got rid of an unpleasant darkish tint)

Great idea. Baking soda has many great properties including cooking tough beans such as soaked chickpeas at an astonishingly fast rate. Just add a teaspoon. I would hesitate to use salts personally due to very dry skin. My tried and true for effective deodorant without anti-perspirant/aluminum remains Desert Essence tea tree oil.

At the risk of getting trounced (as I have in other forums) I'm going out on a limb here. I don't use deodorant at all...ever. Haven't for over a year, and honestly, I do not have body odor, and I live in India, yes, hot, hot India. It's the result of a clean diet. No meat, no onions, no garlic. This was clearly evident to me this weekend. We were ... Ver másat Ahmadabad Ratha Yatra this weekend. Literally hundreds of people. There was at least one hundred young men in the kirtan, banging mrdungas for 4 hours. Dancing ecstatically. They were so sweaty their kurtas were sticking to their bodies, and guess what? No smell - NONE!. I think that deodorant is an idea foisted on the populace just to make everyone "feel" dirty and sell more product. If any of you devotees have the courage, just try to go without any deodorant, natural or otherwise, for a week and see if it really is necessary. If there's perspiration, then use a natural powder (my mom was a staunch proponent of corn starch). But ANY chemical is really unnecessary if you eat properly - no meat, no onions, no garlic.

Let your mind be fixed on the Lord,

Let your eyes behold the Lord,

Let your tongue praise and chant the Holy Names of the Lord,

Let your hands work for the Lord,

Let your feet perambulate around the Lord,

Let your ears hear the Lilas of the Lord.

This are the very basic and most fundamental part in the perfection of our spiritual life...follow them regulatively and be free of all other materialistic contemplating desires...may your spiritual identity be nourished at all times...as you follow these basic principles in our daily sadhana...they is no other means for us to be frustrated of our senses if we dictate our senses properly by following such simple and bold principle...Hare Krishna...
This is one perfect example of a bhakti yogi utilizing all its senses in the worship of Lord Narayana The Supreme Personality of Godhead.

Srila Prabhupada: So there must be good population. So to have good population, the women should be very chaste. That is the basic principle of Vedic civilization. And to keep the women chaste, it was the function of the responsible father, or, in the absence of father, the elder brother... So he must get the woman, the girl, married. It is compulsory. There was no compulsory for man to marry. Because a man may remain brahmacārī. By training, he can abstain from sex. But if woman is not protected very strictly, it is very difficult. It is very difficult. We are discussing śāstra. Don't think otherwise. Cāṇakya Paṇḍita says: viśvāsaṁ naiva kartavyaṁ strīṣu rāja-kuleṣu ca. Viśvāsaṁ naiva kartavyam. "Don't trust women." Viśvāsaṁ naiva kartavyaṁ strīṣu. Strīṣu means women. Rāja-kula... And politicians. Yes. Viśvāsaṁ naiva kartavyaṁ strīṣu rāja-kuleṣu ca. Never the trust the politician and woman. Of course, when woman comes to Krishna consciousness, that position is different. We are speaking of ordinary woman. Because Krishna says, in another place, striyo vaiśyas tathā śūdraḥ [Bg. 9.32]. They are considered, women, vaiśya, the mercantile community, and śūdra, and the worker class, they are less intelligent. Pāpa-yoni. When the progeny is defective, then they become less intelligent. So Krishna says:

māṁ hi pārtha vyapāśritya
ye 'pi syuḥ pāpa-yonayaḥ
striyo vaiśyas tathā śūdras
te 'pi yānti paraṁ gatiḥ
[Bg. 9.32]

Even pāpa-yoni, degraded birth, even women, śūdra and vaiśya, they also can become fully Krishna conscious by training. And they can also go back to home, back to Godhead, without any check.

So when we study things from material point of view, these things are to be taken care. But when a man or woman becomes Krishna conscious, he or she takes care of herself or himself. So it is spoken... Arjuna is speaking of ordinary woman. Strīṣu duṣṭāsu. Just like adharma-abhibhava. Adharma. If the woman is trained, a girl is trained from the very beginning that: "You should remain chaste," that is dharma. It is called Satītā dharma. Satī means chastity. There are many stories of Satī, chaste woman. Nala-damayantī. His husband became so poverty-stricken. He was king, but he became later on so poverty-stricken that he had no sufficient cloth. The husband and wife was putting on the same cloth, half and half. So still, still there was no divorce. You see. Still the woman did not consider... She was also king's daughter. But the husband has fallen down to so much poverty-stricken condition. "So why shall I live with him?" These are some of the extreme examples of chastity. Not to speak of olden days, I have seen in Bombay, in 1935 or '34, on the roadside, there was a beggar. The beggar, the face was defaced. Might be some accident. His eyes and everything became defaced. He could not see, everything became useless. So he, he was sitting on the roadside, and his wife also, also sitting. But I saw that beggar was neat and clean. The wife was also neat and clean. The wife's business was that to keep the husband always neat and clean and fresh and bring him there and again take him at home. Young woman. So I could understand that the wife is so chaste. She has not left such ugly husband. Because his face was defaced. And helping him. Because they require some money. So we have seen.

There are many stories of chaste woman. Many stories. There was one disciple of Rāmānujācārya, a very poor. So Rāmānujācārya came in that poor disciple's house and he saw there was no one in the house. So he thought: "What is this? This is my disciple's house. He's family man. Why there is none?" That means he could understand that the door is not locked. Door was closed only. Then he could understand that within the door his wife is there. Therefore he knocked the door, and there was response also, knocking, but she could not come out. That means she, she was so poor that she had no garment. She was keeping herself within the room, naked. So Rāmānujācārya could understand that "There is his wife. Maybe she has no sufficient clothing." So immediately, his own cloth he gave her, within the room, and the woman came out, putting on that... And then offered obeisances. So he could understand the position. They were very, very poor. Even no clothing. So after putting on the cloth, she went to the grocer's shop. Because Rāmānujācārya is there. She must receive. Grocer shop. The grocer knew that this woman is very woman, uh, very poor, so his business was to entice her. But she never agreed, although she was young. Now this woman went to the grocer's shop that: "You know that I am very poor. I require immediately some grains, ghee, and other things. My Guru Mahārāja has come at home. I must receive. So tonight I agree with your proposal. Please give me. Even at the sacrifice of my chastity I want this." So the grocer was very glad. "Oh, this woman, I have canvassed her, I have tried to induce her. She never agreed. And now she's agreeing." So: "All right, you take, whatever you like. Take." So she was given all kinds of food grains, as much as she wanted. And she cooked and gave to the spiritual master and his associates, his servants. Everything was very nice. In the meantime, the husband came, working whole day. And he saw that everything was nicely done. "Guru Mahārāja is fed, and his associates, they're fed." So he asked his wife: "How did you get all these things?" Then she narrated the whole story. Then husband also said: "Yes, you have promised. All right. Take some prasādam and go to him. Because you have promised to meet him this evening. So go." Then the grocer heard the whole story and his mind became changed. "Oh, such a chaste woman. Such a faithful... You are my mother. You take more ingredients, grains, as much as you like, you shall..."

So there are still. That is not very long ago. So this was the training. And the psychology is that woman, the first man she meets and if she is kept carefully, she becomes staunch lover. This is psychology. There is good psychology in maintaining the society. Therefore a woman, especially in India, especially in Bengal, before attaining puberty, she was married. Not to meet the husband unless she attains puberty. But she remained at father's house, but she must know that: "I am married. I have got husband." This psychology. Then she becomes very chaste. Because she thinks of her husband, and becomes more and more devoted. So this arrangement that woman must be married before puberty... Or even after puberty, she must get a husband. So if this dharma... It is called kanyā-dāya, kanyā-dāya. Kanyā-dāya means it is very obligatory that the father must get the daughter married. This is dharma. So if this dharma, or this religious principle is violated, that is... Arjuna is marking: adharma-abhi, abhi-bhava. When people become neglectful of the family tradition and religious principles, adharma abhibhavāt kṛṣṇa praduṣyanti kula-striyaḥ [Bg. 1.40]. Kula-striyaḥ. Kula-striyaḥ means... Kula means family, and striyaḥ means woman. So woman must be belonging to a respectable family. Therefore it is said: kula-striyaḥ. Not society-girls. Kula-striyaḥ. Of the family. We have got experience in our school, college days. I was sitting in a friend's house and one sweeper woman, sweeper, with broomstick and with, what is called, covering?

Devotee: Shawl.

Prabhupāda: She was standing, say, about twenty yards distant from our sitting place. So I asked my friend that: "Your, this sweeper woman wants to come in. She's waiting because we are sitting. She is ashamed to come. So let us come here." So we stood separately. That means although she was a sweeper woman, still we had to honor her to enter. We stood up separately. She was feeling that; "How can I go between two men?" This we have seen in our... So this is Vedic culture. Woman should not be allowed to mix with man. Not allowed. In Japan also, the same system. Before marriage, they can mix. But after marriage they cannot mix. In Japan also I have seen. But in India still the system is there. Woman, without husband, cannot talk with any man. That is also psychological. In the Bhāgavata it is stated that man is like ghee, butterpot, and woman is like fire. Therefore, as they, as soon as there is fire and butter pot, the butter pot must melt. Therefore they should be kept aside. These are the statements. And the śāstra says that in a solitary place you should not remain even with your daughter, even with your sister, even with your mother.

mātṛ-svasra-duhitravan
na viviktaḥ sanevaśet
balavān indriya-grāmo
vidvāṁs api karṣati

Either your mother or sister, or daughter. No, nobody becomes lusty with mother or sister or daughter. But śāstra says: "Even your mother or sister or daughter, you should not live in a solitary place." Then one may question that "How it is possible?" No. The śāstra says: balavān indriya-grāmaḥ. The senses are so strong that it becomes polluted. "Now it may be, some rascal fools may be polluted like that." No. Śāstra... Vidvāṁs api karṣati. Even the most learned, he can be polluted. So sometimes in India, I am criticized that I keep women and men in the same temple. In India, that is not allowed. No women can live at night. They can come and go. But I defend myself that this is the system of the country, the women and men, they intermingle. How can I check it? Then the women, shall I not give them any chance for chanting Hare Krishna? No, I shall do this chance, I shall give this chance to woman even at the risk. That is my reply.

Bhagavad-gītā: As It Is 1.40

London, July 28, 1973
Lecture
Yesterday morning Sri Sri Radha Paris Isvara, Sri Sri Gaura Nitai,
Sri Sri Jagannath, Baladeva and Subhadra Maharani were moved from
Noisy-le-Grand to Sarcelles with the expert help of Nrsimha Kavaca prabhu.

In the early morning as Nrsimha-Kavaca prabhu mentioned the streets were
cleansed by pooring rain, by the time Their Lordships were leaving the house
there were only a few drops left.

Nitai Gaurasundara prabhu rented a Peugeot van and Puskaraksa came with one
of his luxury cares to move Lord Jagganatha and the small Deities on the lap
of three Pujaris.

Now They are being worshipped in Their own house in Sarcelles.

I would like to take the opportunity of this historical moment to thank all
the members of the Renouveau du Yatra Francais and especialy Sivarama Swami,
because it is by their mercy that this happened.

Nitai Gaurasundara prabhu and Pitavasa prabhu have been working hard
together to make this happen.

Nitai Gaurasundara prabhu pushed for the opening in one sence permaturely,
because the owner took his last things on Saturday, on the other hand the
devotees especialy Pitavas prabhu made such good friends with the owner that
he agreed that they started slowly preparing especialy in the basement
several weeks before.

I am sure Nitai Gaurasundara prabhu will write to all of you more about this
event.

Personaly I do not see this as the end for the Renouveau because as much as
it is important to serve nicely cooked prasadam to the devotees in a nice
Vaisnava way. In a simular way there is a lot of potential in Paris provided
now the management grows along with the growth of the facilities.

Paris has now three facilities, one preaching center, one guesthouse and the
temple. These facilities need to be used in Krsna's service in the best
possible way. I hope that the members of the Renouveau are willing to
continue to give their valuable input.

Your servant,
Hrdaya Caitanya das.
Dear Sir/Madam,

Please accept our warm greetings. We, Sri Krishna Mandir, will like to invite you to take part in our Jagannatha Ratha Yatra at Toa Payoh Stadium on the 28th June 2009 from 5pm to 10pm. The following few paragraphs will convey the unique heritage associated with this festival.

The Jagannatha Ratha Yatra can be translated into English as "The Chariot Parade Festival". The centre of attraction is a convoy of 3 gorgeously decorated 30-foot chariots which are pulled by many hundreds and thousands of followers accompanied by music, dance and refreshments. A sumptuous Indian feast is served after the conclusion of the parade.

The Ratha Yatra is an annual chariot festival which has been celebrated in a town called Jagannath Puri on the east coast of India for many thousands of years. It is still celebrated in India with extraordinary pomp and show. A staggering 3 million people gather to participate in this festival every year!! The Ratha Yatra festival is a unique combination of art, dance, music, delicious food preparations, etc. designed to bring everyone together, irrespective of racial, religious or cultural differences, to a closely-knit harmonious environment with full understanding and cooperation.

For the past 40 years, the festival has been celebrated in almost all major cities of the world in or around the month of July. You can witness this ancient festival in all its grandeur, right in the midst of a cosmopolitan - Singapore!

It is our honor to invite you to join us in this unique festival and help us to spread the fame of Lord Jaganath, Lord Baladev and Lady Subhadra in Singapore. Furthermore, the Guest Honor will be Dr Fatimah Lateef, MP of Marine Parade GRC.

"I have come to the frightening conclusion that I am the decisive element. It is my personal approach that creates the climate. It is my daily mood that makes the weather. I possess tremendous power to make life miserable or joyous. I can be a tool of torture or an instrument of inspiration, I can humiliate or humor, hurt or heal. In all situations, it is my response that decides whether a crisis is escalated or de-escalated, and a person is humanized or de-humanized. If we treat people as they are, we make them worse. If we treat people as they ought to be, we help them become what they are capable of becoming." —Goethe

I am currently serving my Guru Maharaja, HH Radhanath Swami Maharaja, to renovate and restore Bahulavan temple. He has many sweet/bitter memories from this temple/congregation. He got his first, second and sannyasa initiations in this temple.

He authorized me to assist him in restoring this temple and I am sure through his blessings I will be able to complete this service.

Since he is a dear servant of Srila Prabhupada, his desires are non-different from Srila Prabhupada. Therefore I am exclusively focussing on getting BBT books warehouse in this temple to increase book distribution across North America.

I agree with Gargamuni, 10 am is too early for most devotees. 1 pm is a better time but the deity committee and kitchen crew will have to discuss whether a) it is proper to inconvenience the deities with a time change (only if the proposal includes having the arati at 1 because it is normally at 12) and b) can the kitchen crew prepare a full feast by the new serve out time. Previously, the Sun. feast began at 3:15 during the winter.

Notas de mis amigos

Things have changed a lot in these last 7 months or so. My life has gone down alot, a broken relationship to start it all, failed projects, almost everything i have touched these months have gone from bad to worse. But you know what i am neither happy nor sad about them. Each and everytime something has failed, i have moved a bit closer to the Lord.I chant extra rounds now. First i found so much solace. One fine morning i woke up with a dream of me reading the second chapter of Srimad Bhagavad Gita, and immediately after morning prayer i started reading it.
Many new things came up. I was so much downhearted before, but the very first sentence from the Lord touched me, "Where has all this unwanted things come to you, as an Arya, cowardice doesn't befit you". I really felt like life coming back to me.And many other subsequent verses really encouraged me to go the extra step to strive hard. After all my work is to do my duty without attachment and satisfy the Lord, Sri Krishna.
Previously i used to get angry very much, these 7 months has taught me humbleness and patience.I feel so much closer to Krishna now.Wish this had happened some years back.I would have had more time with Him.Well, i just felt like sharing so i started off, i'll keep adding to these notes with more things.

Haribol!
PLEASE CHANT THESE NAMES OF GOD AND BE HAPPY!! HARE KRISHNA HARE KRISHNA, KRISHNA KRISHNA, HARE HARE, HARE RAMA HARE RAMA, RAMA RAMA, HARE HARE.
