Añadida el 18 de mayo ·Sanätana Gosvämé - an eternal associate of Çréman Mahäprabhu and elder brother of Rüpa Gosvämé. He was personally instructed by Mahäprabhu, who ordered him to write books explaining the principles of bhakti and to excavate the lost places of kåñëa-lélä in Vraja. His Båhad-bhägavatämåta is considered to be the earliest of the Gosvämé writings and the source of inspiration for many other works. He wrote a famous commentary on the tenth canto of Çrémad-Bhägavatam, originally titled Vaiñëava-toñané, which later became known as Båhad-Vaiñëava-toñaëé after Çréla Jéva Gosvämé wrote a tenth canto commentary known as Laghu-Vaiñëava-toñaëé.
He also enumerated the basic principles of bhakti in his book Haribhakti-viläsa. According to Gaura-gaëoddeña-dépikä (181), he is Lavaìga Maïjaré in kåñëa-lélä.
