Oraciones de los Semidioses, pidiendo nacer en Bhärata-varsa al Seïor

yady atra naù svarga-sukhävaçeñitaà

sviñöasya süktasya kåtasya çobhanam

tenäjanäbhe småtimaj janma naù syäd

varñe harir yad-bhajatäà çaà tanoti


yadi—si; atra—en este planeta celestial; naù—de nosotros; svarga-sukha-avaçeñitam—lo que quede tras el disfrute de la felicidad celestial; su-iñöasya—de un sacrificio perfecto; su-uktasya—de aplicarse en el estudio de las Escrituras vedicas; kåtasya—de haber realizado un acto de bondad; çobhanam—las acciones resultantes; tena—por esa acción resultante; ajanäbhe—en Bhärata-varña; småti-mat janma—un nacimiento que nos permita recordar los pies de loto del Seïor; naù—de nosotros; syät—que haya; varñe—en la región; hariù—la Suprema Personalidad de Dios; yat—donde; bhajatäm—de los devotos; çam tanoti— aumenta el carácter auspicioso.


TRADUCCIÓN



Nosotros vivimos ahora en los planetas celestiales; sin lugar a dudas, este es el resultado de haber realizado ceremonias rituales, actividades piadosas y yajïas, y de haber estudiado los Vedas. Sin embargo, nuestra vida aquí se terminará algún día. Oramos para que entonces, si nos queda algún merito por nuestras actividades piadosas, podamos volver a nacer en Bhärata-varña como seres humanos y tener la posibilidad de recordar los pies de loto del Seïor. El Seïor es tan bondadoso que viene personalmente a Bhärata-varña y aumenta la buena fortuna de sus habitantes.
