Lakshman (das) Vrindavan (IN): Maha Kumbha mela-2010 at Haridwar has been started with millions of people devoted to mother Ganga and followers of our great Indian Vedic culture. It has inaugurated with the first bathing of saintly persons called naga swami. There is thousands of camp from all over the India called “Akhada”. At this such crowed and holy place called Haridwar, our International Society for Krishna Consciousness ISKCON had build up the big ISKCON camp in Haridwar headed by HG Sreshstha Prabhu. On the occasion of the “Mahakumbh Shahi Snana” on the day of mahashivaratri 12th feb. 2010 all devotees from ISKCON camp had a sankirtan procession with our beloved Srila Prabhupadas Deity on bullock cart. Devotees with chanting the holy name, joyfully took Srila Prabhupada to shore of mother Ganaga. HG Sreshstha Prabhu who was leading this sankirtan procession along with devotees took Srila Prabhupada into Ganga for bathing. Then all the devotees return back with the same sankirtan procession to our camp. Delicious Prasadam was arranged for all devotees in ISKCON camp.
