Oraciones de Brahmä al Seïor Nåsiàhadeva


VERSO 25



prasäda-sumukhaà dåñövä

brahmä naraharià harim

stutvä vägbhiù paviträbhiù

präha devädibhir våtaù


prasäda-sumukham—cuyo rostro estaba radiante debido a que el Seïor Supremo estaba complacido; dåñövä—al ver esa situación; brahmä—el Seïor Brahmä; nara-harim—al Seïor Nåsiàhadeva; harim—a la Suprema Personalidad de Dios; stutvä—ofrecer oraciones; vägbhiù—con palabras trascendentales; paviträbhiù— sin rastro de contaminación material; präha—se dirigió (al Seïor); deva-ädibhiù— por otros semidioses; våtaù—rodeado.


TRADUCCIÓN



Al ver que el Seïor estaba complacido, el Seïor Brahmä, rodeado de los demás semidioses, estaba radiante. Entonces ofreció oraciones al Seïor con palabras trascendentales.

çré-brahmoväca

deva-deväkhilädhyakña

bhüta-bhävana pürvaja

diñöyä te nihataù päpo

loka-santäpano 'suraù


çré-brahmä uväca—el Seïor Brahmä dijo; deva-deva—¡oh, mi Seïor, Seïor de todos los semidioses!; akhila-adhyakña—propietario de todo el universo; bhüta-bhävana—¡oh, causa de todas las entidades vivientes!; pürva-ja—¡oh, Personalidad de Dios original!; diñöyä—con Tu ejemplo, o gracias a nuestra buena fortuna; te— por Ti; nihataù—matado; päpaù—muy pecaminoso; loka-santäpanaù—causa de trastornos para el universo entero; asuraù—el demonio Hiraëyakaçipu.


TRADUCCIÓN



El Seïor Brahmä dijo: ¡Oh, Seïor Supremo de todos los seïores, propietario del universo entero!, ¡oh, persona original [ädi-puruña], que derramas bendiciones sobre todas las entidades vivientes!, debido a nuestra buena fortuna, ahora has matado a ese demonio pecador, fuente de trastornos para todo el universo.


VERSO 27



yo 'sau labdha-varo matto

na vadhyo mama såñöibhiù

tapo-yoga-balonnaddhaù

samasta-nigamän ahan


yaù—la persona que; asau—el (Hiraëyakaçipu); labdha-varaù—que recibió la extraordinaria bendición; mattaù—de mí; na vadhyaù—no ser matado; mama såñöibhiù—por ningún ser vivo creado por mí; tapaù-yoga-bala—por austeridad, poder místico y fuerza; unnaddhaù—estando muy orgulloso de ello; samasta— todos; nigamän—los mandamientos vedicos; ahan—pasó por alto, desobedeció.


TRADUCCIÓN



Yo concedí a ese demonio, Hiraëyakaçipu, la bendición de que no sería matado por ningún ser vivo de mi creación. Con esa garantía y con la fuerza que obtuvo de sus austeridades y del poder místico, se volvió demasiado orgulloso y desobedeció todos los mandamientos vedicos.


VERSO 28



diñöyä tat-tanayaù sädhur

mahä-bhägavato 'rbhakaù

tvayä vimocito måtyor

diñöyä tväà samito 'dhunä


diñöyä—por fortuna; tat-tanayaù—su hijo; sädhuù—que es una gran persona santa; mahä-bhägavataù—un gran devoto excelso; arbhakaù—aunque es un niïo; tvayä—por Tu Seïoría; vimocitaù—liberado; måtyoù—de las garras de la muerte; diñöyä—tambien una gran fortuna; tväm samitaù—perfectamente bajo Tu refugio; adhunä—ahora.


TRADUCCIÓN



Es una gran fortuna que Prahläda Mahäräja, el hijo de Hiraëyakaçipu, se haya liberado de la muerte, pues, a pesar de ser un niïo, es un devoto excelso. Ahora se encuentra por completo bajo la protección de Tus pies de loto.

etad vapus te bhagavan

dhyäyataù paramätmanaù

sarvato goptå santräsän

måtyor api jighäàsataù


etat—este; vapuù—cuerpo; te—Tuyo; bhagavan—¡oh, Suprema Personalidad de Dios!; dhyäyataù—aquellos que meditan en; parama-ätmanaù—de la Persona Suprema; sarvataù—de todas partes; goptå—el protector; santräsät—de todo tipo de temores; måtyoù api—incluso del temor a la muerte; jighäàsataù—si algún enemigo siente envidia de el.


TRADUCCIÓN



Mi querido Seïor, ¡oh, Suprema Personalidad de Dios!, Tú eres el alma suprema. Si alguien medita en Tu cuerpo trascendental, Tú naturalmente le protegerás de toda fuente de temor, incluso del peligro inminente de la muerte.

pradeyaù padma-sambhava

varaù krüra-nisargäëäm

ahénäm amåtaà yathä


çré-bhagavän uväca—la Suprema Personalidad de Dios contestó (a Brahmä); mä—no; evam—así; vibho—¡oh, gran personalidad!; asuräëäm—a los demonios; te—por ti; pradeyaù—conceder bendiciones; padma-sambhava—¡oh, Seïor Brahmä, nacido de la flor de loto!; varaù—bendición; krüra-nisargäëäm—a personas que son muy crueles y envidiosas por naturaleza; ahénäm—a serpientes; amåtam—néctar o leche; yathä—tal como.


TRADUCCIÓN



La Personalidad de Dios contestó: Mi querido Seïor Brahmä, ¡oh, gran seïor nacido de la flor de loto!, los demonios son feroces y envidiosos por naturaleza, y darles bendiciones es tan peligroso como alimentar con leche a una serpiente. Nunca vuelvas a dar esa clase de bendiciones a un demonio.
